You can send a measurement as a readable report or as a file for other software, one measurement at a time or a whole collection at once.
Export a measurement
Open the measurement, tap More, and choose a format:
- PDF report: the map, the figures, the GPS quality and any photos with where they were taken, ready to send or print.
- KML file: opens in Google Earth and most mapping apps.
- GeoJSON file: for GIS software such as QGIS.
- GPX file: for GPS devices and outdoor apps.
- DXF file: for CAD software.
Export a collection
Open a collection, tap the More button at the top, and choose a format to export every measurement in it to one file.
Share a result before saving
On the result page, Share sends a short summary with a picture of the map, for example by message or email. Nothing is saved.
Directions to a measurement
On a saved measurement, Directions opens Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze with the nearest point of the measurement as the destination.
